Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A medium middle note, Chamomile Essential Oil has a soft, woody fragrance similar to that of Moroccan Chamomile, with a haunting bittersweet note. It does not have the fragrance of apples that other chamomiles sometimes have.

Blends With: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Geranium, Lavender, Lemon , Neroli, Patchouli, Tea Tree and Ylang-Ylang.

Product Abstract: Chamomile is an annual native of Europe and Western Asia in the daisy family. The word 'chamomile' comes from the Greek word chamomaela or ground apple, referring to the fact that the plant grows low to the ground, and the blooms have a great apple-scent. Chamomile (German) is an effective anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic for in all systems (especially muscular system) where inflammation exists. It is truly excellent for all skin conditions. Chamomile (Roman) is child-friendly but avoid chamomile (German) due to azulene content unless inflammation exist Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals, and should be avoided by those allergic to ragweed; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.
